Open Access Policy

The Creative Commons copyright licenses and tools provide a balanced alternative to the traditional “all rights reserved” system established by copyright law. These licenses offer a simple, standardized way for creators—from individual researchers to large institutions—to grant permissions for the use of their intellectual work.

Copyright Policy

Authors who publish with the International Journal of Machine Learning (IJOML) agree to the following terms:

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

  • Authors grant IJOML the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
